Safer New Forest conference

The Safer New Forest partnership is proud to host a one-day conference raising awareness for staff and providers of services with a shared interest in the topics outlined below:

  • Children at risk

  • Drug and alcohol related harm

  • Domestic abuse

  • Modern slavery and human trafficking

 

This free to attend event is targeted towards individuals working in roles at both managerial and frontline delivery (including but not limited to); 

  • Youth services
  • Education (primary and secondary)
  • Health services
  • Police
  • Probation/CRC
  • Youth offending team
  • Housing
  • Registered social landlords
  • Mental health
  • Drug and alcohol services
  • Children's services

The conference will take place at Brockenhurst College on 12 November from 9am to 4.30pm.  This is a free event for any organisations working in the New Forest area or supporting clients from the District.  The event will include keynote speakers and workshops on the above topics, along with a marketplace of providers and services to facilitate networking.  Please find above the save the date flyer for the conference.
